Status update, April 2020
This post should be posted about in mid-april, but I have not posted anything since october 2019, so I thought it was a good idea to write this.
First of all, I have been working as an Android developer for the past 5 months. I still have a lot to learn, because Android development is not as trivial as it might seem to be, but I like it. It is been a challenge, but I am learning a lot about how to develop an application properly, and I like it.
Also, I am starting to make my own Android base architecture to make applications (in Kotlin). I am thinking on writting a series of blog posts about this, because it is something I really loved to learn and I am sure it is going to help me even for debugging any bug I encounter! The source code of this will be open when I consider it is worth opening it, or maybe I will do it even it is being done.
I am also starting another project which I hope it ends someday. It is a web application done in flask. It is a simple task manager. Why? Because I did not find any that fits my needs, or at least, what I think a task manager should be. Do not get me wrong, something like todo.sr.ht would do it, but not for my personal tasks, so I hope to release a first version in a couple of months.
On the other hand, I am making another project, this is not going to be open source for a series of private reasons, but I hope to learn a lot from it too.
And that is it! I do not have time to get bored in this quarantine (or even in a normal life), so… I hope to get back to writing more soon!
