Howdy!

This past month has been a slow one.

On Husky related development, the upgrade to the API 32 (Android 12L) is almost done and the first beta of the 1.3.0 version will be available soon. I found some problems with ACRA and this means I am writing Husky’s own crash handler that will be available from 1.3.0 and up (for the moment).

I also have a couple of patchsets to review, which makes me a bit happy since there are users wiling to contribute to the project with code. To those users, thank you!

Next version of Husky will include a new push notifications provider, like Tusky, since some users have problems with them. The idea is to do that in the 1.4.0 version.

My idea is to reach the 2.0.0 version of Husky with the refactor I want to perform in the application. This might lead to a series of posts about Android development and technical stuff, which will be good to do because a) it will help me explain why I do that, b) it will help to make Husky more maintanable, and c) for my professional carreer as an Android developer. More in the future!

In the non-programmer world, I want to say that I started gathering information about email that might help you to have a public email account. You can find those resources at adol.pw/email. It contains a small amount of information at this moment, but I am gathering more to add. If you have any suggestions, please send me an email to my public inbox.

That would be all, see you in the next status!
